It's a raw, heart-wrenching rendition of the thoughts someone would have in this position. This tear-jerking ballad describes the thoughts of a terminally ill or wounded patient who is told they have until the morning to live.
Jubyphonic has an English cover, and her rendition of it starts off as nothing short of utterly devastating, but is wonderfully uplifting in the final verse. This link also has English lyrics in the description. Hanatan's cover is even more emotional, with her delicate, yet powerful handling of the lyrics. The simply-drawn PV depicts the stick figure hanging himself and not knowing where he fits in with the world. The lyrics describe being on the edge of losing a heavy fight with depression, feeling like if you died nobody would care. Nekobolo's "Jishou Mushoku", or "Self-Inflicted Achromatic". It seems to be about regret for past sins, realizing there's nothing you can do and wishing someone you scorned well for the future. Most if not all of Okame-P's songs are known for being REALLY sad, but none more than "you're not alone". One of my all time favorite Vocaloid songs, defiantly. I couldn’t enjoy the original because Miku is too robotic, but after reading the meaning of the song, I realized that Miku isn’t supposed to show emotion in this song, she’s singing about being a robot and an empty vessel. I first heard the Hanatan version of the song, and it’s unbelievable. You know it’s a damn good song when it gives you chills everytime. And yes, even though it is popular, that doesn’t make it any less tragic. Once you watch the whole thing, you realize how tragic the story is.Īhh.how could a make this list without Servant of Evil? This is a classic Vocaloid song. This is a very long song with not much lyrics and long instrumentals, but the story that it tells in amazing. This is a lesser known song, but the lyrics and story are so sad…This is a wonderfully made PV and fantastic song. However, its not entirely sad, for she is singing about accepting her loss. Again, an upbeat song with tragic lyrics. There are many PVs for this song, but this is the one that makes me want to cry. Trust me, I know.(Pssst…the Rin version is much more emotion filled than the Miku one.)

The lyrics are amazing and the story and PV are gorgeous.Ħ) When The First Love Ends by Hatsune Mikuĭon’t be fooled by the fast beat, this is a very sad song. Has it become clear yet that I am obsessed with this song? I love it so much. It is so sad to listen to…she sounds so innocent and naive. This song tells the story of the Russian space dog, Laika, in her perspective. This song has a fantastic story and a gorgeous PV! It is so beautiful, and the ending is fantastic.
One of the most beautiful Luka songs.ĩ) Alluring Secret~Black Vow by Len and Rin Kagamine It doesn’t have many lyrics, but they are so sad.

I think her voice is so full of emotion in this song. This is a very hard list to make, simply that there are so many tragic vocaloid songs…but here is my top 10. It seems the most beautiful Vocaloid songs are the sad ones.
